The CREW Utah chapter was thrilled to participate in this year’s CREW Network Convention, joining hundreds of members from across the globe for three incredible days of learning, networking, and inspiration. The event was filled with thought-provoking sessions, empowering speakers, and countless opportunities to connect and collaborate within the commercial real estate community. Highlights from Our Members: Michelle Nelson(CREW Utah Membership committee chair) shared that one of her biggest takeaways came from the Advanced Negotiation session — learning to “plan out your presentation and frame it within our BATNAs” to achieve meaningful win-win outcomes for all parties. She also drew inspiration from keynote speakers Chely Wright and Jacinda Ardern, noting Jacinda’s powerful reminder: “If a door opens before it closes behind you, put your foot in the door and pull others through it with you.” That sentiment truly captures the spirit of CREW — women supporting women and lifting each other as we advance in our careers and communities. Many attendees echoed that one of the most valuable aspects of convention was the opportunity to collaborate and exchange ideas with members from other chapters. “I connected with other members who gave me several ideas on how to attract and retain membership,” one Utah member shared — demonstrating how CREW’s network of professionals continues to strengthen one another across markets. As always, CREW Network Convention was an inspiring reminder of why we come together: to grow, to lead, and to support one another in shaping the future of commercial real estate.
